Abstract
Firstly the problem of heat transfer for squeezing flow between parallel plates is studied using Homotopy Perturbation Method (HPM). Secondly, the heat transfer for squeezing flow between two parallel disks with velocity slip and the temperature jump is considered. Both problems are analysed using HPM. The higher order approximations in HPM are generated by delegating the routine complex algebra to computer in both the cases. The results so obtained for the physical parameters are in very good agreement with prior numerical findings and other methods. The present study enabled us in extending the region of validity in both the problems.
